Ravi S Ramakrishnan

­Ravi S Ramakrishnan is the Founder & Executive Chairman of the RvaluE Group. He is a seasoned global business and people leader with 40+yrs of business, finance, business services and technology expertise, with the last 17 yrs as an entrepreneur. After an excellent corporate career of 25 yrs of senior management roles in marquee companies like Unilever, Murugappa Group, CFO at Eicher Group and Global Business Leader at American Express. Building on his pioneering global experience to establish the first-ever offshore Global Financial Centre at Delhi for American Express in mid-1990s, Ravi founded RvaluE in 2005 to become the first-generation entrepreneur in the Business Services space. His vision is to enable people and clients to realize their potential and value in this globalization era.RvaluE has now grown to now become RvaluE Group, with four LOBs, encompassing RvaluE Companies, Shared Services Forum and Quintes Global. Currently, the Group offers end to end services across the life cycle spectrum of transformation and technology integrated Enterprise Solutions & Services to strategize, set up, operate, automate and transform Captive Operations in India & overseas, and setting trends and next practices with Shared Services Forum as industry platform to ‘realize business value’!

As a Business Leader at Amex Global, Ravi was integral to the growth of the Centre to make it truly global - starting with countries in Japan, Asia Pacific, Australia (JAPA) Region, and expanding to servicing 30+ countries including US, UK, Europe and India. He worked with customers across the globe, created global Centres of Excellence and Expertise, delivering US$ 20+ Mn cost saves, while leading global initiatives like Y2K Compliance, Global Process Ownership, Capacity Optimization, first time Sox Compliance for the global US$160Bn Balance Sheet etc.

Ravi uniquely combines exposure to Manufacturing & Services sectors, and combines strategic and operational experience in Global Business Services, International Business, Enterprise Risk Management, Sox Compliance, Sales & Marketing, Mergers & Acquisitions, Spin offs and Disinvestments, Financial Institutions & Banks, Treasury & Capital markets and Corporate Planning.

At RvaluE, along with his team of practitioners, Ravi has set up several Shared Service Centres and carried out 100+ transformational assignments, various structuring/ operating models, 20 to 40% saves to clients. With 20+ years of BPM experience, he is recognized as a Visionary CEO, Thought Leader in Business Services, and is an Executive Coach & Mentor for business leaders, hi-performing executives, and young entrepreneurs.

In 2011, RvaluE pioneered Shared Services Forum (SSF) to bring both global & India corporations and centres together in an interactive Industry Platform for Global India, 'for practitioners, by practitioners'! In 2019, launched a differentiated and innovative D-CapTM Model (Dedicated CaptiveTM) & Capabilities for India & Offshoring under the venture Quintes Global. Ravi is a speaker at national and international conferences and other forums on varied topics relating to business, finance, business processes, shared services, KPO/ BPO, leadership development and organizational effectiveness. He has authored several Thought Leadership articles on Business Services & Organizational Development in the ‘Process Edge’ the Journal of SSF. He has evolved the Performance Framework - E to the power of 5(E5) – Entrepreneurship, Energy, Engagement, Execution and Excellence. He is a Master Trainer for many global programs, and translates extensive expertise in business services and processes to enable team performance and organizational results.Ravi is a Chartered, Cost Accountant & Company Secretary and trained for implementing eSourcing Capability Model at Carnegie Mellon University, USA. He is passionate about people, practices, leadership and organizational capability development. He believes in partnerships with a collaborative approach and brings unique value to business growth and capability development through his global exposure, strategic leadership, direct operational experience in business services and successful execution / change enabling leadership skills.
